Other Experience:

Prior to my qualification as a Registered Counsellor, I worked as a lay counsellor at Lifeline and Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust. It was during this time that I developed my passion for counselling, by witnessing the healing power in providing a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space to those going through difficulties.

I worked part time for 2 years for Community Keepers as a rotating counsellor. I was based at a primary school and 2 high schools in Eerste River and Stellenbosch, in underprivileged communities providing psychosocial support to learners, parents & educators.
I currently have a Private Practice in Durbanville, Cape Town. I also supervise BPsych Honours students during their practicum placement as student registered counsellors through Cornerstone Institute.

I have been married for 30 years and am a mother to 3 beautiful children who complete my sense of purpose in life.
